Terms and Conditions for Gujarat Gyan Guru Quiz 2026 (G3Q 2026)

1. General Use and Eligibility

• Free to Use: The App is completely free to download and use. There are zero in-app purchases, entry fees, or commercial transactions required to participate in the quiz or win prizes.
• Eligibility: Participation is open to students (Class 9 to 12 and College/University) and citizens of Gujarat, India.
• Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate quiz results is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.

2. Device Permissions

To provide core functionality, the App requests the following specific device permissions:

• Push Notifications: Used solely to send important administrative alerts, such as quiz window openings, result announcements, and OTP verification codes.
• Microphone (Audio) Access: Used exclusively for the Speech-to-Text (STT) feature within the G3Q AI Assistant. Your audio is processed in real-time to convert your voice questions into text. We do not continuously listen, record, or store background audio, nor is this audio used for any commercial profiling.

3. Fair Play and Code of Conduct

• The G3Q platform is designed to test general knowledge fairly.
• You agree not to use automated scripts, bots, emulators, or any third-party software to attempt quizzes, harvest questions, or manipulate the timing mechanism.
• The Organizing Authority reserves the right to disqualify any participant, withhold prizes, or ban accounts if anomalous activity, cheating, or terms violations are detected by our security systems.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The App utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) modules to generate questions, provide answer explanations, and power the G3Q AI Assistant.

• While the AI Question Bank is reviewed for accuracy, the Organizing Authority's official answer key is final in the event of any dispute or factual discrepancy.
• The G3Q AI Assistant provides informational guidance regarding the quiz and government schemes. It is not a substitute for official government circulars or legal documentation.

5. Prize Disbursal

• Winning a quiz tier makes you eligible for a cash prize, which is disbursed entirely at the discretion of the Organizing Authority.
• Prizes are distributed via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Winners must provide valid, matching bank account details and government-issued identity proof when requested.
• The App and its developers do not handle the financial disbursement of prizes and hold no liability for delayed or failed bank transfers.

6. Detection of Anomalous and Suspicious Quiz Activity

To ensure platform integrity and fair competition, the G3Q platform employs automated technical monitoring systems. Any quiz attempt completed in under fifty (50) seconds with a 100% score (or any performance profile deemed mathematically or humanly implausible by platform technical telemetry) shall automatically be flagged and classified as "Suspicious Quiz Play."

In such events:

• The participant’s quiz attempt will be held for formal forensic review by the official G3Q Scrutiny Committee.
• The participant's name and ranking will be immediately withheld and suspended from all provisional and published winner lists pending completion of the review.
• If the G3Q Scrutiny Committee concludes that automated scripts, unauthorized assistance, answer harvesting, or unfair means were employed, the participant will be disqualified from the round, all accrued prize entitlements will be forfeited, and the associated account may face permanent suspension. The decision of the Organizing Authority and its scrutiny committee shall be final and binding.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within the App—including the G3Q logo, government emblems, text, graphics, AI-generated images, and software code—is the property of the Government of Gujarat or its technology partners and is protected by Indian copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any loss of quiz progress or missed opportunities due to network failures, device incompatibility, scheduled maintenance, or server outages during peak traffic windows.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our data collection and usage practices, including how we handle your basic profile data and device permissions, are detailed in our Privacy Policy at https://quiz.g3q.ai/privacy.

10. Modifications to Terms

The Organizing Authority reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time (e.g., updating quiz rules or prize structures). Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
